Released: Jan 2008 The Audience were a new wave band from Sussex (UK) consisting of Sputnik Weazel (vocals:drums), Ernie O'Brian (vocals:guitar), & Boppa Bailey (bass), in later years Dithery Dave (keyboards) joined the line-up. The Audience played mostly in London and the South East, sharing the stage with the likes of Bram Tchaikovsky, Peter And The Test Tube Babies, and The Chefs. Sputnik went on to play with The Weazels, The Hot Diggedy Dogs, and the Surfin' Lungs. Ernie produced the first Lolita Storm album, and briefly joined the Anti-Nowhere League. Sputnik and Ernie were also in (the ironically named) The legendary Sputnik Weazel Band. |
